LHP was invited to have a booth at the Picnic Mua He 2009 organized by the “Vietnamese Nail Salons Association (VNSA). Our two amazing friends Kim Nguyen and David Cao donated an iPod Touch to be raffled, giving a 100% of the proceeds to LHP. In one afternoon, filled with games, Karaoke, watermelon eating contest and much fun, Kim and David were able to raise $1,250.00 USD for Loving House Project. The VNSA and the Chicago Viet Bao magazine participated with generous donations to LHP. We were overwhelmed with the warm reception and want to thank the support of the Chicago Vietnamese community!
