Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son is 49 years old. Mr. Son lost his leg in a land mine accident when he was a boy. Him and his wife have 3 children and they also raise a niece. He is a fisherman and his wife has health problems. They live very modestly in a small but very clean house. With the support of the IVSU (Illinois Vietnamese Student Union), LHP is very happy to give them a Loving House.

11/25/09 - The construction of Mr. Son’s Loving House has started. Mr. Son and his wife are very greatfull and held a little ceremony asking for their ancestors’ blessings for their new home.

12/04/09 - LHP visited the Nguyen family and checked out the construction of their Loving House.

12/24/09 - Today LHP Representatives Kim Nguyen and David Cao visited Mr. Son to see the progress of the construction. His Loving House is not ready yet but the ceremony to give him his new home will be held on December 31st. We can’t wait to see the pictures of Loving House Project No. 12. 

12/31/09 - Today LHP Representatives David Cao and Mrs. Thuy were able to give Loving House No. 12 to Mr. Son and his family. We are very happy and would like to thank, once again, the IVSU for their support and trust.
