Mrs. Kim Lien was born on September 16, 1984. In May 2009 she was diagnosed with Atrial Septal Defect in her heart and her case was considered URGENT by the Hue Tam Duc Hospital in Vietnam. Kim Lien needed a life saving heart surgery. She has two children, a 3 year old girl and a 5 month old baby. Because of her condition she was not able to breastfeed her baby. Her father in law was considering selling his property to help pay for her surgery. LHP decided to help this young lady and her family.

With the support of the Sawgrass Market and our friends Bob and Pam, LHP was able to raise the funds needed for her heart surgery and committed to build her a Loving House.

Kim Lien’s surgery was successful and she is completely recovered. LHP visited her in August/09 and everybody was happy to see that she is doing great.

11/25/09 - Kim Lien’s Loving House started construction. LHP is very proud to be able to help this young and beautiful family.

12/02/09 - LHP representatives visited the construction site. Kim Lien and her children were all smiles. The foundation is done and they have started working on the structure to build the walls.

12/24/09 - Today LHP Representatives, Kim Nguyen and David Cao, visited Kim Lien and her family. Their Loving House is not ready yet but the workers promised that it will be finished by December 31st. LHP is so very happy to see that Kim Lien completely recovered from her heart surgery and will now have a comfortable and safe place to call home.

12/31/09 - Today Kim Lien and her family received their Loving House. It is a happy day for this young lady, her family and for all of us.
