Ms. Pham Van Nang - 37 years old, mentally ill. Her husband is a fisherman and they have 4 children. The oldest boy and the youngest girl are also mentally ill. They live in a very poor hut and we would love to give them a Loving House.

11/19/09 - Today Joe was able to visit the construction site of LHP 10. This house is being built for Mr. Pham Van Nang and his family, wife and four children. The construction started last week and is going along nicely. The home is being build next to a canal so all the material is being delivered by boat. The family has a small piece of land that they farm and they work very hard to put food on their table. Mr. and Mrs. Pham are both helping with construction. One of the pictures shows the hut that the family of six is living in during construction.

12/03/09 - Today LHP was able to give Loving House Project No. 10 to the Pham family. Their house is beautiful and very cool. The wind flows through their bedroom and living room making it very fresh all the time. The family is very happy and Mrs. Nang smiles all the time. Her mother didn’t stop crying and thanking us during the ceremony.

The Pham family is very happy to be receiving their home and send thanks to all of you that helped make this possible, especially to the Illinois Vietnamese Student Union whose donation is funding the largest part of this project.
